Good Friday

How did it come to be called Good Friday ?
Today is the day we recall how the human person we call Jesus was crucified on a cross, died and was buried.
I'll do my best to remain in a thoughtful frame of mind today as I go about my work day.

Imagine the event, knowing that you are going to be hung on a cross till death, and there is no escape. Jesus, as a human, must have experienced all the emotions generated by the human body and mind that would occur when faced with an awful outcome.
He was tapped into the higher spirit, which allowed him to accept the human outcome.
He knew he was going to rise again in a different form.
We are challenged to get to the same place. To be not afraid and trust in spirit to guide us to the appointed outcome.
